Part of my series of music and landscapes in colour. Always ultimately abstracts, with my title as the first key; they are open to all interpretations. | ORANGE PEEL mixed media 21 x 121cm
This is an Abstract exploring the nature of colour through a continual exploring of my rhythmic cityscapes. This piece is one of four, in which I look to change format. The title as always, when there is no figurative hook, is the means of starting engaging in this piece. Ultimately, you swim along the waves of tar and lime.

| VITRAILLE/ STAIN GLASS mixed media 21 x 121 cm -
The last of the four pieces of these works in this long format with the introduction of colour into the rhythms of tar and lime. Notice that rather than work on a colour background, the black sets a stage for the unfolding drama . Vitraille is translated as stained glass window, and the title is inspired by framed quality of the tar together with the colours used .
