This is an action painting where composition of light, dark and colour is the communication; not the form or line. |  Abstract in Purple(ink and mixed media) 40cm x 30cm - The techniques used here were those of the flower abstracts. There is suggestive form of which the key lies in the imagination. The severe restriction of colour range is to help bring out the patterns and lines; all of which here are intentional. |  CORALSmixed media 40 x 30 cm - Part of my expressive abstraction series . In it the objective is to balance the colours on canvas. The result for me always seem to resemble either a bed of flowers in a garden or the corals on a seabed. The media are inks, acrylic and wood glue. |

The title refers to the the bush like flowers leading to a tunnel like entrance. |  LAVAmixed media 30 x 40 cm - This work is a result of a mix of wood glue, inks and paint. In this series there is no final objective, instead here the aim is simply to free oneself on canvas and get the creative juices flowing. More often than not, the work does follow on ideas from the actual doing , glimpse or suggestions are grabbed along in the process. |
