This is also proudly proclaimed as the originator of France's symbolic Marianne. The sunflowered landscape is always a recurring theme in the area and my paintings. |  2 Faces of An Angelmixed media 80 x 80 cm - My studio for these paintings is in the outside rafters of a medieval house in Lavaur; this painting was inspired by hours of discussion with Benoit, usually finished off with a trip to the cafe for a glass of local red after a hard day in the office. My work clearly straddles the line between figurative and abstraction and will remain an ongoing theme. |
